The Complete Crossword Archive
Daily Themed Crossword has published a themed grid every day since October 21, 2017, and this archive covers all 3,216 of them — 212,803 clues in total, right up to September 1, 2026. Each grid runs to roughly 66 clues and is built around a single theme, with the longest across entries usually carrying it.
The app itself only really exposes the current puzzle, so tracking down a date you missed — or checking one you half-finished last week — is awkward in-game. Here every date is a page of its own listing all clues and answers in grid order, with the clue text intact so you can find the one that stopped you rather than scanning a bare word list. Answers keep the game's own conventions, so an entry flagged "Abbr." appears shortened and one flagged "2 wds." appears run together.
Puzzles are grouped by year below, newest first, and the most recent month is listed in full further down. If you want the other format, the mini crossword archive holds 2,814 dates, and the game's 202 themed packs add 58,679 more clues outside the calendar entirely.

3 Tips for the Crossword Archive
Find your date first
Every board here is tied to a calendar date and never changes afterwards, so the date is the only thing you need to match. This archive holds 3,216 crossword boards and 212,803 clues, newest first.
Read the theme before the clues
Each board is built around a single idea and the themed entries take the longest slots. Working out the theme from two or three long answers turns the rest of the grid into crossings rather than guesses.
Old boards are free practice
Nothing is removed once archived. Clue style repeats even when answers do not, so working backwards through a month is the cheapest way to get quicker. The themed packs are the fixed alternative if you would rather drill one subject.

How we verify the crossword archive
Each board is captured on the day it runs, with clue text stored verbatim and every answer length-checked against its grid slot. A nightly job adds the new date and re-checks the run for missing days, so the archive is continuous rather than best-effort.

How to Solve a Daily Themed Crossword
How the daily and mini grids are built, and the order that solves them.
Read the theme before the clues
Daily Themed Crossword builds every puzzle around one idea, and the long entries almost always belong to it. Knowing the theme turns those from cold clues into a guessing game with a very short list.
Fill the short crossings first
Three and four letter answers use the most predictable vocabulary in the whole grid. Each one you place hands letters to the long clues for free, which is a better use of the first minute than staring at the hardest entry.
Abbreviations are signposted
A clue ending in "Abbr." or containing its own abbreviation is telling you the answer is short and clipped. The same goes for "Hyph." and "2 wds." — the clue format is half the answer.
